What data we collect
When you make a booking, we collect the information needed to manage your reservation: your name, email address, phone number, country, arrival and departure dates, and details of your party. If you pay online, payments are processed by our payment provider — we do not store your full card details on our website. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. When you contact us through the contact form, we collect your name, email and message. Like most websites, our site also collects limited technical data (such as IP address and browser type) through cookies, described below.
Why we use your data
We use your data to manage and confirm your booking, communicate with you before, during and after your stay, comply with our legal obligations under Greek law (including guest registration and tax requirements for short-term rentals), and — only if you have subscribed — send you our newsletter with offers and updates. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone.
Who we share it with
Your data is shared only where necessary to provide our services: with our booking system and website hosting provider, with our payment provider to process payments, with our email service (Mailchimp) if you subscribe to the newsletter, and with Greek authorities where the law requires it (e.g. tax and short-term rental reporting). If you booked through a platform such as Airbnb or Booking.com, that platform’s own privacy policy also applies to the data you provided there.
How long we keep it
We keep booking data for as long as required by Greek tax and accounting law. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function (such as remembering your booking search) and basic analytics to understand how visitors use the site. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, request its deletion, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy in a portable format.
